Lymphatic therapy helps to achieve a smooth recovery after orthopedic surgery by helping to prevent the formation of scar tissue that can lead to pain and swelling. In addition, this therapy helps to increase range of motion, improve circulation and minimize post-operative swelling and edema. Sessions of once or twice a week are recommended for up to 4-6 weeks. Optimally sessions begin 7 days after the procedure.
